I have successfully setup our windows vpn to allow users to dial into the network to retrieve emails etc.
As mentioned it is a standard windows vpn.
I have noticed that when dialed in via the vpn I am able to ping all our servers except one.
I am unable to ping the server by ip or server name.
I can sucessfully ping this server inside the network but not via vpn. This is cauing problems with our voice over ip system for vpn users as the server in question is our phone server.
Also our subnet mask here is 255.255.255.000 and gateway 192.168.175.1 but whenever I connect via vpn it assigns me a subnet of 255.255.255.255 and gateway of 192.168.175.68
When dialed in via vpn I assumed it should asign the same subnet and gateway as the network.
