We are currently deploying 5610 phones that connect to a Netgear FVS338 firewall. We used the Juniper option with X-Auth on our Netgear. We would like to replace the Netgear with a Sonicwall 2400 security appliance. Question is:
1) Can the same configuration be deployed on the Sonicwall & if not, which Avaya technical tip explains Sonicwall configuration?
2) If we have to move away from the "Juniper with X-Auth" config, how can I make those changes on the already deployed phones on the field? Can this be done through an answer file or do they have to be reconfigured individually?

Thanks.

Have a look here in the TB190;

ps, SSO login needed.

Why do you want a different router ?

The Netgear often locks up and all phones lose connection. Even with multiple reboots it takes a long time to get the phones back on line.

Do you have the latest firmware ?

I'll certainly give it a shot. Thanks for the info.

We use the 538 and had some issues too but those are resolved.
I do not know what the problem was but it is stable now.
