Hey guys,

i just got a 4620SWIP phone up and working with the following setup...

406v2 4.1.9
vpnremote phone license
netgear FVS338

the phone is coming up fine and sounds great... my problem comes when the remote phone loses power. the phone reboots in the "Avaya security Gateway" mode. i need it to reboot the way it was setup (generic PSK with all the programming the same). when it reboots, all the programming switches back to the "Avaya security Gateway" settings?????

any ideals on how to get it to come back up as "generic PSK"

thanks guys!

How do you have the start mode set? I think it needs to be TFTP. I dont have one in front of me but it is one of the options when you set up the phone. i will look at one in the am and give you the exact info.

set it to Boot Mode. the phone powers on, gets dhcp and trys to establish a vpn before looking for the IP office and TFTP server.

taker,

that is how its setup now. when it works the phone is in the "genric PSK" mode. when it reboots, it goes in to the "Avaya Security Gateway" mode.

how do i change it to stay in the "generic PSK" mode without having to reprogram every reboot?
