I have setup a VPN set via a Sonicwall and the set works fine. The problem I have is the two IPO 500's that are networked together and can call to and from each site BUT the VPN phone try's to call the IPO500 which it is not directly connected to I see the call complete but user only hears dead air. Anyone out there ever tried this before. These are NOT dedicated T1's just plain old Internet pipes.

Thanks
BIGV

Jamie is right
Dead air is a routing problem

BIGV,

Disable "allow direct media path" on the IP extension and enable it on the IP lines between sites.

Or put the correct routing tables in the routers!
