VPN disconnects every hour using 3G

Hi Guys. I connect to a VPN over 3G modem (Vodacom , South Africa) The VPN connects to the McDonalds Head Office in the UK. Now , on my laptop , using XP pro , the VPN disconnects on the hour , every hour like clockwork , but my 3G does not lose internet connection. I am baffled by this as this problem does not happen on my Desktop using Vista (using a Vista VPN client)with the same 3G modem. So I am reaching the conclusion that it must be a XP/3G problem and not my ISP. Can anyone help me shed some light on this very frustrating problem? Many Thanks.

Could the VPN Group that you are configured to, have a maximum connect time of 60 minutes?
