VPN disconnects at Marriott Hotels

I HAVE USERS WHO INTERMITTENTLY GET KICKED OF OF OUR VPN CONNECTION WHILE IN mARRIOTT hotels

What VPN client are you using ? What port are you using.
Maybe Marriott's firewall does not like it.

Cisco client with I am assuming standard port, I would have to check with my network guy on that. You are probably right, it is just hard to explain to users when it works well one time and not the next.

It could be the model routers they use as well. Some have problems supporting IPSEC passthrough or fragmented packets.

We deal with the same thing. You just have to suggest they go somewhere else.
