Hi All,

I manage two offices in the UK, one in Milon Keynes and one in London. There are 6 users in the London office that connect to the MK office server on Terminal Services via vpns. Every now and then they experience disconection problems, the Terminal Services application goes slow, then they are disconnected. This happens to some more than others, but some not at all. It never happens to me when I connect to the MK office from home on a vpn and we have tried increasing the bandwidth of the London internet connection, but it had no affect.

Does anyone have any possible causes or solutions, or even a few simple things to check that could stop this?

Are you using Routing and Remote Access? You haven't limited the amount of avaliable PPTP ports to something like 5 have you and therefore the sixth person connection means someone else has a drop in connection?

Hi, that is all configured ok, it will allow all the staff to create VPN's the max we have had is 10 and it works fine, the problems is just now and then, when it disonnects people some are not disconnected and others get disconected 10 tomes or more during the morning

Ok, so when they get disconnected is there any clues in their local System and Application log? What the server event logs?
