Am able to get authenticated and connected to the VPN server (windows 2000 server)thru my laptop. The question comes here what else do i need to do to get my laptop see the shared drive of the server. Basically after connecting have no clue what to do next.
I did enter the same workgroup as used in the office. But still unable to see the server (only laptop seen).

Would appreciate if one could guide me in using VPN.
Thanks

First make a ping from your laptop to the ip (internal) of the server.
If you get reply, you are just fine.

Go to Start\run\ and write
\\server_ip

then you will see the shares of the server, right click on one of them and choose map network drive.

you are done.
