We just finished setting up a VPN between two offices using 2 FVS318 routers, with one office on Adelphia cable, and the other on Alltel's DSL.
I can "see" both networks, and can access one from the other, but it is painfully slow. We want to print our work orders from the main office to a printer here in the shop. Also, I provide tech support for both locations, and if there's a problem with a file I would much rather grab the file, fix it, and send it back rather than driving to the other location to fix it. But the printer will usually time out before printing, and it takes almost 7 minutes to download a 7 MB file.
We are running a Win NT 4.0 server at the main office, with all other machines running XP Pro, and the shop has no dedicated server, running Win 98 SE, Win 200 Pro, and one Win XP Pro machine.
If there's any more info needed, please don't hesitate to ask. I am very new to all this, so I'm not even sure what all information is needed to fix this.
Thanks
