Hi,

I have configured VPN on the college network where I work, and I am able to authenticate, but cannot connect to any servers etc.

Could any 1 help?

Regards,

J.

If you are using a VPN to connect from outside to the college network successfully, then the VPN works. If you unable to browse or access machines inside the network by name, then you have a name resolution problem. To verify this, once the vpn is established, try connecting by IP address.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.
We cannot connect using IP either? I am given a IP address for the VPN session though...

Thank you,

J.

When you say you are unable to connect to any servers etc, what do you mean? What types of servers? What ARE you able to do? Can you ping anything?

I get authenticated, given a IP address, but cannot ping any servers etc... We are using windows 2003 servers, we have VPN configured on are ISA 2004 server.
Cheers,
VPN steve.
