VPN and Winroute Pro

I'm trying to setup a VPN server, in a Windows 2000 server machine running Winroute Pro 4.2, as soon as the machine is ready to accept incoming connections, I lost connectivity to internet, as soon as I disable VPN, connectivity comes back

Has any one come across this problem before?

I checked that one before and it didn't help in my case as my problem was that I lost connection to the internet when RRAS is active in the machine runing Winroute pro, However I have now configured a new server for RRAS and VPN and I'm OK.
