I'm trying to connect to a network via VPN thru a DSL connection. the vpn connection works thru the authentication
but can't view the server thru my network places.
i can ping our servers but no viewing access.
Is it true that certain DSL providers block access to some VPN connections ?
the help would be appreciated.

can you Start|Run -> \\servername or \\server ip and view the resources?

This is usually due to the server being on a different network segment. Servers and clients use broadcast messages to advertise their presence on the network but broadcasts aren't passed through the router to keep congestion down. Using a wins server may reslove the problem

Cheers
