Hope someone can help!

I have setup a simple VPN on our WIN2K DC. We are able to connect fine. However, we are unable to browse the network. I checked the IP address assigned to that adapter on the client, and saw that it was not assigned through DHCP. Needless to say, it defeats the purpose of the VPN.

I have setup (properly I think) DHCP relay. This is also our NAT gateway for the company's internet access as well; could this be affecting it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Why did you put your domain controller on the internet?

My connection is up all the time. I got the computer to join the domain over the VPN connection. Once I did that, i checked the box "log in using dialup connection" to log in to the computer. Browsing will then work.

Check under you VPN properties. There is a spot(can't remember where off the top of my head, sorry) where you can define a range for the VPN server to hand out IPs for remote clients. Hope that helps.

Thanks, that would work, but I was trying to bind it to our internal DHCP. I accomplished it by selecting the NIC for our LAN under the server properties, IP tab. That did the trick!
