VP 9 and CR XI report doesn't print 1

Under intellisense, types, what do I need to check for Crystal report printing and printer selection.

The printersetup() gives me the page setup dialog and the orp.printout(.f.) does not give me a report. Data connect may not be working. I was getting a data connect error but now I just get ignored.

I am creating fox2 dbfs and have printed the report in CR.

Any thing you can suggest would be appreciated.

I knew I was not getting the printer option. That makes sense since my OS changed to Vista. Cr is obviously using Vista windows standard.

I appreciate all help.

You have the smae problem with SYS(1037) in VFP on XP vs Vista: It's the windows dialogue that changed. Therefore you'd now need GETPRINTER() from VFP to choose the printer, than either set that as the default printer or somehow pass the printer name to Crystal Reports.

Which is easy to .. and how we had to do it in earlier versions of CR.

Thank you. It is always good to find out that the code is not wrong. I will work with figuring out to use the getprinter() method in VFP and passing it to the selectprinter(). I didn't interface CR with VFP until the printsetup method was available.

Now that I updated to the newer version I have the selectprinter method.

I couldn't have done it without the support I found here.
