Hi all,

Is there any way that one can list volumes and their
retention times using mminfo (or any other tool).
I want to se when browsable volumes becomes recyclable (without going through all their save sets).
I've played around with mminfo but it seems it only reports
expiration dates on a save set level?

Regards,

Stefan S.

We just upgraded to Networker 6.1 (just released) and it has an expiration date column in the volumes listing. It looks to be accurate on the volumes created since we upgraded. This is showing only in the UNIX admin GUI right now. We don't have a copy of the Window GUI interface for 6.1 yet, but I would expect it to show there also. It's not on the 6.0.1 admin Windows GUI.

You can use the following options within mminfo (only if you are running version 6.x):
mminfo -av -q volume=xyz -r ssretent,ssbrowse
These options are not available in 5.x.
