Hi,

under the volume tab whereby we can see all the volume tape status.
My question, under what circumtances that the networker will assign status FULL for the volume tape?

I have a few tapes which assigned FULL and have to manually reassigned to recycle....

Legato typically marks a tape as full when:-

- It has reached the EoT and can't write to it anymore
- If it meets a bad block on the tape. The tape is marked FULL to prevent it from being used for writing again.

Why do you need to manually set them to recyclable? If you have your system set up correctly the tapes will automatically recycle at the appropriate time.
