Voip troubles

Hi, i have two routers through satellite chanel and the delay of stablishment of the call is very high so many times i lost the remote PABX tone for timeout, the delay of the chanel is of 650 ms, is there any instruction for solve this ? <br>

Roundtrip latency of 150ms or less is generally required to provide acceptable voip quality. More than that and you'll experience the same type of &quot;uncomfortable&quot; delay that you notice when TV news people try to carry on a conversation via satellite.

Are you defining the session target statement at the loopback adapter or at the serial port? I ran into a similar situation and pointing the session target statement to the serial interface dropped approx. 150ms of round trip time.
