I have setup about 8 5610sw IP phones on one of the Avaya systems we have. Because of VCM channel limits I want to put additional phones on a different system with availble VCM channels.

I am having trouble with this. the second system is a 500 series. After entering the correct IP info the phone boots up to "no user" and asks me to login. I try to login with the voip user and it tells me invalid.

I have noticed that on the phones that worked on the first system, the phone loaded the file x10d01a8_016.bin. This file is not present on our second system.

Is this the problem and should i just copy the file over?

Thanks

NoUser means that the user does not exist or is not logged in.
Phone firmware depends on system software.
But this stuff is all very basic to be honest.
