Has anyone installed VoIP Monitoring Manager recently

I have installed this and followed the docs, Vmon connects to the SNMP agent OK but cannot connect to the database
I have uninstalled and re-installed but get the same error

The following are notes from my installation:
VMM server is installed and is running as a service on the server.
and, shows no licenses.
SNMP is turned on with public and private both set as READ WRITE.

Not complete, but, perhaps setting SNMP to Read and Write will do it.

Yes, I just installed the new VMM, as Esmerelda is telling you, you have to go into the Microsoft SMNP Service and set the SNMP password to "private" (which is the default PW for VMM) to get it to work... otherwise, it will not communicate...

thanks for replies, this was due to domain security policies in the end

Hi folks

Just in case anyone comes across this issue again, search the install logs and you might find that it was not able to create the database user VmmUser, with the default password VmmUserPass. The installshied wizzard doesn't indicate that it didn't work, and you end up tearing your hear out trying to get it to licence!

We eneded up doing some database hack to add the VmmUser to the Vmm database, then running the provided batch files (in the install directory) to rebuild the database.
