Hope I am posting in the right forum. I have VOIP running well on my network with one caveat, when all my sites call one piticular site it goes striaght to voice mail does not pass go and does not collect $200, its system wide at that location, when you call any extention its going right to VM. I have had to disable VM for the time being and am able to get to the person now with out it going straight to VM. any one have a suggestion, this is on a BCM, conneced via VOIP to 3 other bcm's and an opt11.

Hi Maverick8673

When you say it goes straight to VM. What part of the voice mail. Is it the individuals mailbox or is it the general delivery mailbox an announce on a CCR tree or something else.

At a guess I would suspect that you might have an auto attendant on the VOIP lines. Lines 1-60 on the call pilot under line administration.

If not check that your target lines have the extension as the prime DN and not the VM extension.

I would also check you forwarding on the individual DN and see if there is any call forwards on busy or no answer.

ok looked at the system

Nothing is on the lines in call pilot.
the prime dn for the targ line of the users is the main extention of the system or the operator at the facility
the forwarding is set in the system to vm after a delay of 4

When i call their extention it goes straight to the uses mailbox, if i call an extention that dosent have a mailbox it goes to general dilevery.

Have you tried to remove the call forwards on the DNs to see if it still goes to VM.

Is the BCM a 3.6 if so have you checked that the call forward all calls is blank and has not got the VM extension.

Does the VM come on if the extension ring each other in the same system.

I forgot to ask are they TDM handsets or IP.

All extentions are able to call internal and not go to VM, have not tried to remove the call forward but that is needed, they need to have the operator answer if they arenot there and this is happening on the the operator set too, they are not IP sets they are normal sets.

How have you set up your networking between the sites?

Have you got an access code for VOIP lines?

Are you using Call routing?

its site to site with remote gateways setup along with dialed digits, the bcm isnt doing any network functions except qos. this is the only site that is doing this, i can dial every other site with vm and not getting it to go straight to vm its got to be something small that I am missing.

Its working now, I turned off the VM in the BCM for the weekend turned it back on and now it rings and does not go straight to VM....yes true story and ODD :) thanks so much for your replies and help.

Good to see you got it sorted strange one all the same.
