VoIP 1140E Problems

Help
Installing 1140E phones. First 1110 phones no problem. Went to a new building and phones look normal, but when you pick up the Handset it reads server unreachable. ANY SUGGESTIONS. After restarting phones they start working and after a period of time the problem comes back. Any suggestions welcome
 
Let me say I am new at this so this may not be fully correct but it is what I experienced

I had a Similar problem with 2 phones at a site running and SRG connected to our main CS1000 system and there were 2 issues

1) There was an IP conflict with another Phone
2) The information in the SRG and the Information in the CS100 did not match.
 
LAN problem.
Node configuration problem.
Switch problem.

Give more details on how your system is:
Type of PBX
Rls
SS?
IPL?

Did you try to connect the defect sets on the same switch as the SS Tlan is connected to and entering IP config manually?
 
Thanks for the post. It turned out Network did not have V-lan program.
