Hello,
I have had one user (and now more than one) who's voiceopsmail access seems to disappear from time to time...

The symptoms are as follows:
- Their name disappears from the Dial-by-Name Directory
- When calling their voice mail directly (#Extn), the caller gets redirected to their own voice mail
- They can still be reached via their extension both internally and through the main menu

I am running IP Office v4.0(10) with Voicemail Pro.
This problem also seems to appear and disappear at different times and I have been unable to find any connection.
Thank you for any help,
Mark

I'll bet the system is managed from 2 different managers and one is overwiting the other.

I do manage two buildings, each with their own IPO and manager. How would they be overwriting each other? Any hints as what to look for or what to change?
Thanks

I have experienced problems with Voicemail Pro 4.0.18 within a SCN with four sites (Advanced networking options enabled) all running 4.0.10.If a login user(all users on this network are set up as login users) is renamed the Voicemail Pro does not create a new mailbox account for it and stopping and starting the VM Pro services will not create the new mailbox either and I have found that some other users' mailboxes on remote sites suffer the same symptons as described in this thread.

I have had varing degrees of mailboxes not operating correctly whenever the Vm pro services were stopped and started (9 mailboxes to 34 mailboxes). To date the only way I have found to restore the correct operation of all the mailboxes is to stop the voicemail services, log off all the login users (Although I prefer to reset all the systems in the network as this will force them to be logged off)and then restart the Voicemail pro.

I also run the Voicemail Pro service to interact with the desktop so that I can check the updated mailbox list to see if it tallys with the number of groups, alog,IP,Digital DNs across the SCN. Once or twice I have had to remove mailbox accounts of users on the same site that hosted the Voicemail Pro Server in order for an existing mailbox to be work again.
