Voicemail to Email - VM Pro 3.2 (39) and Windows 7 Pro

Hello,

We had VM Pro running on windows server 2003 with exchange and voicemail to email worked fine. The server crashed and we have re-installed manager and voicemail pro on a windows 7 pro system. The phone system, voicemail, etc work fine. The only feature that I am having a hard time with is getting the voicemails to send using SMTP. I have configured the SMTP settings in control panel >> IP Office Voicemail Pro (32-bit) and selected SMTP in VM Pro under administration >> preferences >> general.

What might I be missing?

You think it's a windows firewall issue? I have disabled windows firewall, but still no success.

Disabled or turned off?
just turn it off rather than disabling it as I remember from the Win2008 server if you disable it then all is blocked. Maybe a recent update has the same effect on the Win7 box

forgot something, you can run the firewall batch file to put all the exceptions in for the programs installed if need be.

Got it. Even though I am using SMTP, I needed to add the email address to the Account section on the MAPI tab. Otherwise, the SMTP server was rejecting the connection.

Sorry to bring up an old thread but I am having the exact same problem you had. When you say account section where are you talking about? Are you using Outlook 2007 on the Voicemail Pro machine?
