Voicemail to email question

I have a IP Office 500 V2.

My customer wants to have voicemail to email. I spoke with the network tech and he wanted me to use a g-mail account for the voicemail to send out emails.

Can this be done?

They are using a cloud based email sewrver, and they will have to pay for another email account.

You can. You need to create an App password for it to work consistently. Enter that App password in Manager for the account you create.

Do you mean create a user in manager, or put in the user name and password under the smtp in manager?

enter that App password in the smtp field. You will check use STARTTLS and user requires auth. USe port 587 and I use smtp.gmail.com.
