Does Avaya offer a license to convert voicemail speech wav files into text (transcription) then to be delivered to the user by email?

Currently using IPO 9.1 with voicemail pro preferred edition.

Per AI online search:
Yes, Avaya offers a license to convert voicemail speech WAV files into text and deliver the transcription to the user by email:

  • Transcription feature
This feature allows users to receive text output from voice messages in the body of an email. It is not part of the standard Avaya Messaging license and must be purchased separately.

  • Mutare Transcription Services
Licenses for this on-premise transcription service are available through Avaya.

Here are some things to know about Avaya's transcription feature:

  • There is no limit to the length of the message being transcribed unless set by the system administration.

  • The transcription confidence may drop significantly for messages longer than 10 minutes.

  • The quality of the recording can affect the transcription confidence. Poor connection, voice quality, or background noise can degrade the quality.

  • A system administrator must enter the user's email address in the system configuration before the user can use the email options.
I use OpenText VM service and moving to Teams Phone system. Recording and transcript sent to email is great.

None of what you've posted in your reply has anything whatsoever to do with original posters question regarding IP Office, and more specifically IP Office release 9.1 which is quite old and Avaya is no longer selling licensing of any kind for it. Your confused robot is just spitting out gibberish including random tidbits about a third party product that happens to work with one of the voicemail servers offered for an entirely different Avaya product.

Posting the output from some computers random hallucinations as a response to someone requesting help isn't helpful. It's just a confusing waste of time for everyone.

You version is rather old you may have issues with finding something that works reliably.

Depending on your use case you may be able to find something perhaps a 3rd party application either on the trunk or perhaps 3rd party connection to the IPO.

Theer would be a number of possible solutions, just a couple of ideas AWS, Xima etc

I have used Cytrack before on the IPO but not their voice transcription . https://www.cytrack.io/cylive-speech-cognitive-services-ai/

I suppose the AI statement is related to AURA systems, for what is in my knowledge there is no "STT" - Speech To Text - license for the IP Office environment. The only Speech recognizing engine (ASR) is due to the IP Office if hosted via AWS.

Yes the Mutare transcription license is for Avaya (IX) Messaging on Aura - not IP Office (although IP Office can use Avaya Messaging for voicemail with SM trunks to Aura if in a branch type config).
