Good morning all,

I am currently rebuilding a primary server for a customer who's production server has some physical damage to the PCI card and will be replaced but is up and running. I was able to load and restore the IPO config without issues but I can't get the web interface to recognize the voicemail backup which I've placed into the /OtherBackups folder.

I've tried to keep it as compressed and I've tried to upoload it unpacked but nothing seems to work. It is running the same version as the SE I pulled it from 11.1.2300 -47. I do see that the file has Administrator rights in the folder and thought it may need to be vm pro but I've never ha to change the permissions to do a restore before to get it to upload so I wouldn't see why that would be necessary now.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Have you enabled HTTP backups?
Enabling HTTP Backup Support on the Server
Login to the web manager menus of the server.

Select the servers Platform View option.

Within the platform view menus, select Settings > System > HTTP Server.

Select the Enable HTTP file store for backup/restore option and click Save

I will check today and update. I've never had to enable in the past so I didn't even think to check for it. Either way I appreciate the response.

Unfortunately, that was enabled and it's till not working. I'm going to downgrade the server and try again. I appreciate the post.

Took forever to get Avaya to get to the bottom of it but the backup is finally working. It was actually extracting the backup folder to another folder and wouldn't be recognized. After extracting the initial backup we had to drill down one more folder then upload it to the /OtherBackups folder for the web gui to recognize it. After it saw it everything worked as normal. Just a heads up if anyone runs into this down the line.

i appreciate everyone's help.
