VoiceMail Reset

I have a NAM voicemail off a MICS, I may have to reset it remotely how do I do this? People can't access voicemail, it's is saying "inactive feature

you can do it same way if you have RAD and ACCESS is up

if not pull the plug

Not sure how to do this remotely? Is this the feature with the string of digits for a rest? If so what is that string?

Here’s the thing- You should not be asking for strings, passwords, etc., on this forum. There is no reason we should post how to hack into Norstars on a public forum. All of that is covered in the manual.

I unplugged the unit and plugged it back it but that didn't work? If I call the extenstion of the NAM it answers. But if I try and dial f983 or f981 it says "inactive feature"? Any suggestions?

Looks like you have a major problem; do you have ACD on the NAM? if yes then it might be the co-residency problem.
or It may have defaulted, In this case you must treat it like a new system.
Press F903 to select a feature code range.
Then press F983 and enter the password 266344

Thanks the f983 then the config password is the only thing that worked? So I now have to re-program everything I guess right?

Any helpful hints in setting up a standard AA? They are just using a custom AA grreting giving the option to dial a person extension, from this recording they give each users name and extension.

ya you must reprogram, unless you have it backed to a disk. You never told us if you have a rad. If you do can u restore?

Yes I do have a rad but I do not have a back up of the voicemail, only the key system. I'm accessing using remote tools.

if nam was never backed up then u must reprogram.

if you backed up the VM, it would be via Floppy. The RAD won't help you
