I have read a number of threads on here on how to setup voicemail relays using embedded voicemail and Google Apps for Education. I believe I have settings in both IPO and stunnel correct but I am not seeing any e-mails sent (or even attempted) via IPO. I have the sysmonitor open and watch as the data scrolls when I attempt to leave a voicemail, yet nothing about an email ever shows up.

We originally had a Comcast business e-mail setup which worked fine but we are now closing that account, and I setup an email in our GAFE account to take over. Would appreciate any assistance.

I left a test message this morning and this is what came up in SysMonitor.

408065206mS LVMail: Message recorded. Email mode(1) Addr(kcalderw@email.com) Locale(enu)
408065206mS LVM(email): VM Email request added to queue - size = 29

Yet I never see anything hit stunnel.

Went into SSA and I can ping the PC with stunnel installed.

Something else, we recently shifted from Comcast Business to Fiber. Would I need to change anything in IPO?

Are you using a spamfilter? If so try white-listing the "Email From Address".

Embedded can get stuck on email with a failed delivery attempt , after a reboot delivery can start working again

Somehow I missed your responses. At first I was using stunnel but then switched over to Google smtp-relay server. I can ping the relay server from IPO. I watched the monitor but never see any SMTP information being passed along.

I have not used that specific relay but I have lots of experience troubleshooting SMTP Relay issues.

What happens when you telnet from the network the system is on to the smtp relay on port 25?

for example from command prompt:
C:\>telnet smtp.sendgrid.net 25

you should get a response like this:

220 SG ESMTP service ready at ismtpd0003p1las1.sendgrid.net

Comcast is bad about blocking port 25. If the above doesn't work try using 2525 as your port.
