Hi Guys,

I'm trying to set up a Mailbox for messages when Night Service 2 is invoked.

I know it should be simple but!

Day Service works like this.

Calls come into a Name Tag Hunt Group(6500) which has 4 Members (3600,3601,3602 & 3603) these appear as Multi Call Keys on several sets. If calls are unanswered the calls goto 6500's Mailbox which is configured as a Menu which basically says press 1 for Sales, 2 for Hire and 3 for Service. This in turn goes to 3 other Hunt Groups 6501(Sales), 6502(Hire) or 6503(Service). If these calls are again somehow unanswered the calls eventually drop into the respective Mailboxes associated with the Hunt Groups. This scenario works fine.

In Night Service 1 the Hunt Group 6500 is rerouted to a Ring Group 6600 in which all Phones ring. Again this scenario works fine.

In Night Service 2 I would like to route the calls to a Mailbox say "3000" which gives message and allows callers to leave a message if necessary.

I've tried various combinations but I cant seem to get the calls to drop into the Mailbox of 3000.

Calls just seem to lose their way and end up at the attendant prompt "if you know the extension you require etc etc etc"

Any ideas to get calls to drop into the Mailbox 3000 or some other configuration would be much appreciated.

Create a nametag huntgroup numbered *3000 and route it to voicemail. Anything that terminates to this huntgroup will end up in mailbox 3000.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply, from what your saying then, In Night Service 2........

I can re-route my Hunt Group 6500 to another Name Tag Hunt Group *3000 which is always rerouted to Mail and the call will drop into 3000's Mailbox.

Yes that will work.

thats great, could have saved me so much time in the past.
I normally end up getting round this by using call reroutes to acd paths that interflow and have unavailable points to be the dummy mailboxes.
This way is ,much simpler.... thus the STAR!
