What does "Voicemail is dropping periodically" mean? - not answering calls, disconnecting during calls, disconnecting during playback, regularly (every x minutes or with no discernible pattern), ....

I called the voicemail number today and phone rang instead of going direct to voicemail. Asked a user to dial *17 and vicemail was not up. Tried calling the voicemail number again and it was up. The voicemail numbet is a number that directly goes to a voicemail module.

Had a similar problem last week where a clients VMP showed similar issues, grabbed a backup and reinstalled, been fine since.
Make sure you run the same version of VMP as the IPO your'e connected to. And also edit the service to run as local system account instead of the one you specified in the installation.
