Voicemail Pro 11.0.4

Approximately 4 times a week, voicemail pro loses sync.

When it happens. Voicemail pro in system status is "none" and in monitor "VMAIL=0(VER=0 TYP=1)". In dbgview, the mailboxes are all "built" and look as though they are ready and in Voicemail Pro Client, the IP address of the IPO is present and looks normal.

I verified that the voicemail password matches in the IPO security settings. Restarting the Voicemail Pro service does not fix it, however, rebooting the IPO resolves it every time.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

thanks

I had a similar issue a few years ago and thought it was the network switch that was overloaded. To prove it I directly connected the VM Pro server to the IPO. In the two weeks it was like that the connection never dropped but as soon as I put things back the problem came back almost immediately. To solve it I got a small 4 port switch and connected the IPO, VM Pro Server, and the customer's network to it. Now that the IPO and VM Pro were next to each other on the same switch the problem never came back.

Do you have a DNS server/service running on the same voicemail machine?

Also make sure that there is no IP duplication for the voicemail server. Unplug the voicemail server from the network and ping it from IPO.
