i have a problem with the voicemail pro, i have just moved the voicemail pro to a new server, all the messages, wavs and configuration files where restored to the new server.
the messages and their status (new, old and saved) are correct; the mailbox names are correct

BUT the personal greeting for each mailbox have been lost, i am now getting the system default greeting even though the personal greeting wavs are available in the greeting folder they are not being used.

is there a simple way of using these greeting wavs instead of each user having to re-record the greeting?

Double check the read write access settings of the files. If you moved them via burning a CD there have been cases where files turn up as read only and then cause the VMPro some problems.

Also check what voicemail type it was Intuity or IP Office mode. They record greetings to different file names

intuity = Prince Charles_1.wav

ip office = Prince Charles.wav

thanks sizbut, the files where not readonly attrib.

i found a way around, i got one of the users to re-record the greeting and found out where the new wav file got created; because i have 2 folders greeting and greetings.
i then restored the personal greeting into the same folder; this has done the trick.
