Hello folks,

We are having an issue with our IPO 500v2 with UCM module. When callers try to leave a VM, they are told that the mailbox is full. After clearing the mailboxes using the VM Pro client, the display shows a 0 value for messages but the bottom of the page says "Free Space:0.0MB | Total Space:21.513". Is this a bug? Am I missing a step to clear the messages?

Thanks for your suggestions.

Regards,
Charles.

if you do your research you will find many post on these defective uc modules, you will need to replace the uc module.

Thanks smokinjoe.

Is there any way I can prove that the module is defective? I'd like to give my manager solid evidence of defective hardware.

Prior to my post, my manager suggested we upgrade the IPO to the latest version (from 8.1 to 9) hoping that would fix the problem. I would rather not add to our woes by upgrading if it won't fix the problem.

Thanks.

Thanks for your help. I'll check the serial number of the module later this evening (out of hours).

Thanks again. I removed the files as per the procedure in the email and managed to reclaim a bunch of space. Now to get a replacement UC module.

like I said this will at least buy you some time until you can get a replacement in place, good luck to you sir!

Upgrading the unit is supposed to fix those file accumulation issues. If you go through it all, and try to run the firmware update, and it says it dosent' need to run, then it's not an issue with the card, it's just crappy software.
