Hey there guys. I am having an issue with our demo unit as one of our customers want to have voice recording features. I was doing some tests and am unable to make some features work. We are using IPO 500v2 r8.1, VM Pro 8.1 and ContactStore 7.8.16 for 8.1x. In our actual deployed environment, we will be using IPO 500v2 r9, VM Pro 9 and ContactStore 7.8.16 for 8.1x (according to Avaya, this combination should still work).
In our test environment, I am just trying to do basic recording. I was able to do recording to a particular mailbox with no issues. However, when it comes to automatic voice recording, I am having issues.
I can automatically record a POTs line just fine. Any calls that come in through that line will be recorded and ContactStore can see them. However, I cannot seem to get it to work with just recording by the user/group. According to the documentation, I would just have to set up the options to record to "voice recording library" as well as other misc options to record. I am able to see the recordings listed under the directory I have saved them to but I cannot see them if I try to search up for it on ContactStore.
Also at the same time, I do not see the player to playback the recordings. I've tried IE, Chrome, and Firefox. None of them display the player to playback at the top of the screen. Again, I only have the voice recordings from the POTs lines and not from the user/group to test with but in theory, I should be able to still see/play these records. I do not understand why I do not see them.... I believe I am missing a plugin as I am able to get it working on another computer but I do not see the prompt to install the plugin on another. Or maybe I'm missing a program to view it although the documentation doesn't actually state what is required for it to work.
I have done 0 configuration to VM Pro. Also, we can assume that the POTs line directly calls onto one user or a group with only one user.
Below will be some screenshots of the configurations I have:
Settings on PBX look ok
11 recordings total
Only 2 call records show up out of the 11. The 2 that showed up are from recording from the analog trunk. The rest that do not show up are from recording from the users/groups.
Installed onto a different partition just like the document states.
