when you change your greeting it records the greeting as an intuity greeting

So when you access your greeting through *17, all sounds good, but when someone leaves you a message they get an old greeting

In the greeting folder I get

Matt.wav - my usual voicemail greeting and
Matt_1.wav - my new greeting (in intuity naming format)

Anyone else seen this one?

If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.

Log into your voicemail box, go to personal greetings and check the option "To activate a greeting...". Make sure you have the correct greeting activated.

IP Office mode doesn't have this feature thePhoneMn. Only 1 greeting!

Matt the answer is: Use Intuity mode, it's obviously better!! It's not a log winded pain in the arse at all!!

(it's not too bad once you get used to it!)

I can test this on a 500 for you this week mate. I'll ring you on the moby once I have. Might be Tuesday.

Fooball is not a matter of life and death-It is far more important!!!!

delete both of the greetings out of the account folder and then re-record.

Its a bug, i have raised it today.

As a temp measure you could always rename the wav file to be the correct name once it has been recorded. Pain in the butt however its a temp fix.

I have just upgraded from 3.2 to 4.1 and have come across this problem. I plan on writing a little program to sit there and look for any <user>_1.wav files and copy them to <user>.wav.

Darryn

just use a command line tool create a script to scan the local HD and rename the specified file in those folders or folder.
