Has anyone had Voicemail pro 4.0.18 crash every now and then for no apperent reason?

Running on Server 2003 SP1.
 
One possible cause of this.....

Windows updates, dont have them set to auto, set it so you have to acknowledge them. Sometimes when an update is installed the service may have been stopped and may not start again properly.

Also make sure there are no silly settings regarding the pc/hard drive going to sleep after a period of inactvity etc.

Failing that run dbgview on the vm machine and wait for it to happen.

Anyone else had this issue? We are experiencing this very ranmdomly... 4.0.18
 
do you get an error message on the screen? we had that too and realized it was from having a hunt group set up for outcalling. as soon as the hunt group received a call, the service went nuts. changed it to a user and been good for the last week. come on Avaya, lets actually try some scenarios in the lab before releasing these updates.
 
Avaya thinks the other way around : Think before you program something....
 
I'm having the same problem with a customer. We installed two weeks ago and the service crashed 4 times already. I'm getting an error in the event log stating: The voicemail service terminated unexpectedly.
 
I have also seen this error occur on Broadcast VM messages. VM Pro will run through about 25%-50% of the messages before the service crashes.
