I have a IP403 with VM pro, I am trying to record AA Greeting via Extension but the pull down menu only show PC Multimedia although there is extension in the Ext Field.
Please help

I have seen this when the VM Pro service has been stopped & restarted while the VM Pro programming application has been running (It looses connection to the VM Pro Service)


Pesonaly I would always create an internal menu structior linking to "EditPlayList" actions to enable the customer to change greetings by dialing a shortcode.

Turn off windows firewall and reboot

I was going to suggest the VM Pro example exercises document, but it does not seem to be included anymore :-(

1) create a short code start point (common practice is to call this recordings

2) and menu actions as required to enable your usere to select the greeting to change

3) point each menu exit to an EditPlayList Action

4) set the file path in the specific tab to the recording you wish to change.

5) creat a short code on the IPO

It is probably also a good idea to set a pin code on the VM start point to prevent unauthorised changes
