I have two separate installs of IPO 11.0.4 with VMPro 11.0.4 on windows servers.

Both of them eventually lose connection between the IPO and the VMpro.
VMpro client "sees" the IPO, however, voicemail = none in SSA
i have confirmed the voicemail password in the security settings matches.

Restarting the VMpro services does not resolve. restarting the VMpro services does not resolve.
Restarting the IP500v2 resolves the connection issue.

one of these systems was upgraded from V8 to V11 in April. Prior to that, there were no issues like this.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Mike

Run the avaya firewall patch and make sure there is no dns service running on these server.

Thanks,

I failed to mention. That has been done.

Much appreciated

It seems to be a problem with the IPO if the restart on that is solving the issue.
Is the IP address entered into the field or a broadcast address?

It could however also still be that the IPO just gets angry if something is blocked because there is a virus protection on the server.

I would run all windows updates, turn off virus protection until the vm either fails again or runs for a month without issues.
