Voicemail not working

Hello,

I have setup a voicemail account for 1 of our users here.
I can dial into the voicemail account no problem, but when you call the users phone it does not forward you to the voicemail it just keeps ringing.

Any ideas on what i am not doing correctly.

the problem might be the ext number assigned in MerMail for message waiting notification. This number must be assigned to a number which is either on key 0 or a unique number to the phone. Since the phone is ACD, you cannot use the number on key 0. If this phone has a unique number - put that number in MerMail message waiting notification. If there is no unque number assign one.
 
All excellent suggestions. If using ACD, make sure the system software release allows the designation of a MWK to the ACD phone. Also, if everything looks like it is supposed to, go into the TOOLS menu of your voice mail and run the MWI notification tools. This resynchronizes the voice mail and pbx where if there is a message already heard, if extinguishes the light and if there is a message not heard, it causes the light to come on. Good luck
