Voicemail login while on speakerphone problem

I have a new R11 install with VMpro and a weird issue. When using the phones (95xx) to access voicemail while on speakerphone the VM will not recognize key presses for password entry, I will get a password length error (if setting a password) or an incorrect password error (if a valid password is already in the system config), but...if I mute the transmitter I get a successful login. Watching the login attempts with system status, call details trace output, I see all key presses as being recognized. Any ideas?
I have no other dialing issues when on speakerphone.
The 9504/08 phones are connected to the system on a combo card and 2 DS30 B2s.

Did you check the VM logs? Does VMPro receive the digits?

try using mute button see if that makes a difference, then if so turn off echo cancellation
