I have 2 extensions off site. Hooked via dry pair running on a PN-AUCA card with an AD-64 voicemail. Should I be able to light the message waiting Lamps?

The auca is a long line analog card, so even though it has the extra voltage capacity(48 volts), it will use this to extend the distance of the extension, and not to turn the lamps on and off.

For an analog card to turn lamps on and off, you need 80V, as in the 4LCF.

pabxdude,

So I can replace the PN-AUCA cards with 4lCF(I hope it's that easy). Do you have any extensions that work like this? I was thinking maybe going through the c.o was messing things up. Thanks for your reply

You can try to replace, as it should work. Keep in mind that if the distance from PBX to the phone it quite long, then the line may not work.

It would need to be under 800 feet as it is only 24 volt so I would be extremely surprised if it worked. Give it a try.
Your best bet is the AUCA card and supply studder dial tone when there is a voice message. CM 482>12>0.
