Voicemail light keeps turning on

I am new to phone systems, our phone guy has left the company. Anyways, we have a phone that the voicemail light turns on throughout the day but the user has no messages. Can you guys help? We have a Option 11c, phone is 2616.

P.S. I need to get this resolved, its for an exec.

search in the meridian mail for the message waiting DN

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

log in option 1, option 1, soft key find, tab down to mesf waiting dn, soft key list

Ok I've followed the steps above, its showing that the user's other line has 3 mins worth of messages. What do I do next?
