We have three pbx G3SI Ver 8 connected with C-lan/medpro cards.
We also have an ituity voice mail connected with ip.
If there is a voice mail for an extention the voice mail led op the 8410D will not go on.

What commands era related to this let.

Arno

Hi,
First, the station xxxx(station number) should be defined
in your voice mail server. You say that there is voice mail
for this station, so I assume that your station xxxx is
already defined in your voice mail server.
Secondly, when you enter the command "change station xxxx"
in Definity Site Admin. screen, there are 2 boxes at the
right-bottom. You should set them as follows:

Message waiting indicator: "led"
Message lamp ext: "xxxx"

I hope this helps...

Let me explain a bit more. In the central site it is working.
In one branch office via IP it is working.
In the second branch office connected via ip it was working but
someone made several changes and I have to clean it up. But I do not know where to look for setting regading the MWI. I think it has to do with the c-lan / medpro connections.
The voice mail box is in the central office connected to the ip network. Who is turning the light on the PBX or the ituity?
How is the signaling done ?????

Arno

One thing to look at:
On the subscriber form in the intuity there should be a field for switch number. Make sure this field matches the switch number where the station is located.

The signal is sent by the VM system.

There is a setting you need to turn on in the audix for it to send the MWI. Dont remember where it is though.

Im not sure about vm over IP, but some things to look at in a traditional system:

In audix
disp switch-link (there should be info in here)
DCIU interface

In switch
NCA-TCS assignments
Comm proc channel interface
Com hop channels

Thanks,
Taylor
