Voicemail Leave Short Code

Setting up a new IP Office 8.0 with Voicemail Pro and am trying to create a short code to leave a message in a mailbox, IE VM Transfer on Partner system. I've done this before and I even have an older IP Office in my office and I have that button on my phone, but I can't make it work. Short Code *22XXX, Voicemail Collect, telephone number: #N. The button on the phone is programmed to dial *22. With the older 4.2 software it works but on the new system, no workie. Naturally the newer 8.0 put the parenthesis around the #N. I've tried several combinations. Has anyone got the silver bullet? Thanks.

short code *2xx

"?extn***" ...*** being the number of the extn number you are collecting from , you need to set a voicemail password for outside access

vm collect

or vm pro simply set up a

start point>getmail

If using 14xx,16xx,95xx or 96xx handsets and visual voice, simply press the message in call (no transfer first) and it ask what extn's mailbox you want to send it to

? is get voicemail with voicemail collect and # is leave voicemail with voicemail collect.
So in this case you should use "#number"

code: *2100

feauture:voicemailcollect

this will place a vm message in mailbox 2100


if putting on a button

Dial

*2100

but first you must set the short code up.....pink love please

Unbelievable amriddle01!! I just tried your suggestion on the 9508 phone!! That's too easy, thanks a ton. Gonna delete those short codes and other button programming. I really like these new 9500 series phones and the new updated software. Two hours on this....man thanks.

that aside i would like to pick youre brain on that earlier issue , regards mac address etc , i know about the pw interogator but would like to converce if thats ok ...not tonight too late but can you give me a form of other contact?
