Voicemail is setup but when someone calls, the call just rings and does not go to voicemail.
Where can I check to see if everything is setup correctly?
Access call rerouting assignment form and check the call reroute 1st alternative and see if it is set the same as the other phones, if not change it to the same as a phone that is working.
Apparently they are newly setup users who setup there voicemail, but I tried calling to leave a message and it continues to rings.
Is there anything else i can do to get voicemail to take messages?
Voice mail is not attached to each extension. In some cases people want different options instead of voicemail. Please make sure that it has the same rerouting profile in station service assignment form as working phones
This is a call rerouting or call forwarding issue. Even if voicemail ports, voicemail hunt group and voice mailboxes have been programmed, the calls will not go to voicemail unless you program call rerouting.
