voicemail help 1

Hello,
I just purchased a partner mail v5 from a company of which left all their settings, I am trying to reset the system to factory defaults. when I go to #505 and select hunt group 7 it will not let me assign 78 or 79 only( 10to59) I think I have to have the hunt group assign 78 or 79 to access the vm controls to reset? if I dial my phone number from a outside line it instantly go to automated attendant so it appears the vm is working just not for my company.lol
 
First of all, you need to do a reset on the vm system to clear out the previous company's menus and programming and then reprogram the voicemail system. Do you a manual?

i searched in the forms and found out to assign to 26 an 27 based on my config, now i can access vm from intercom 777 still working on how to log into admin account to reset.
 
If the voicemail was a Partner Voice Messaging, then yes, extensions 78 & 79 would be put into Hunt Group #7.
 
do you have the admin password , If so its just a matter of going in and recording your own prompts and settings

if not you need to get someone to dial in and reset it for you

back door passwords cant be posted in open forums like this
