Has anyone experience problems with using voicemail email?

IP Office 406 v1(34) with valid voicemail pro v1.3.2. VM is on a Windows 2000 server with Outlook 2000. Outlook on this system is functioning as it's capable of sending and recieving emails. I am using the Alchemy voicemail rather than the Intuiity.

If it was an ArgentBranch or ArgentOffice, I would simply enter a valid email address and switch on the voicemail email feature within the user. But this does not seems to be functioning on the IP Office.

Peter,

I've found that the Voicemail system only sends emails if it is running as an application not a service. This should be corrected in future versions, although I had hoped it would be fixed by now!.
 
Many thanks for your suggestions, I have resolved this issue with regedit changes.
 
Can you give me a little idea of what you did in the registry ? I may have the same problem -- running VoiceMail as a service, cannot send any email, but Outlook works fine.

Here's the regedit entry;

Thanks for the reg keys, had a similar problem with voicemail lite not sending emails, added these keys and it worked a treat.
 
You need to eddit the prefferences for the VMPro service to specify the correcy username & password for it to log into WIn2k
 
I have tried both local and network admin user names.
 
Ha the local Admin accont Got a vailid e-mail adress & a mapi complant E-mail client installed (outlook or outlook express are ususlay fine)
alternatively tick the interact with desktop setting this can sometimes help & an also give access to the VM trace like VM Lite
