Voicemail email

Hi, i red in IP Office Toolkit that VoiceMail Lite "Supports basic mailbox customization :
for example
Email address.
Voicemail email on/off."
Is it right?
Can I send an email with attached the voicemail message to the any user?
Where Must I specify the SMTP server address?

VM Lite will only support Mapi for its e-mail sending

Email address, & alert type (Foward, copy, Alert ) can be set form manager I am not sure if they can be set from the handset

Thanks for the reply.
What means that it uses TAPI to send email? I need some more windows applications or is it enough to specify COPY and the email address on the manager?

Mapi requires outlook (or another Mapi Compliant email client) to be installed on the PC with a valid e-mail account.

VM lite will then use outlook to send the VM as a wave file (or a text alert).
Recent security updates from microsoft may need to be removed or modified to get this working 100%

Do you know exactly how to modify the Outlook settings? I also have recently set this up with VM lite. It works but I get the security prompts and i would like to turn them off.

Sorry, I know instructions are out their - try the microsoft website- But I switched to using SMTP wherever possible

By security prompts I'm guessing you mean fromOutlook saying another program is trying to access it, do you want to allow it etc?
This is part of MS Outlook 'New Security Features' in 2003 which cannot be turned off. There are some Third party Workrounds, one of which is here ...

Chears Nick, thats exactly what I meant Athough I was lead to beleave there were some patches available to disable this if req.

The again this would not be the 1st time I have been given eroneous info.
