We just had our system reprogrammed after a crash but now
when you transfer a call to another person's extention the voicemail does not pick it up. It rings 3 times then comes back to you.

If a person calls in and the auto attendant picks up and the person dials an extention, and it is not picked up it DOES go to the voice mail.

WHat do i need to do to get voicemail to pick up internal transfers?

Thanks in advance.

Check to see if you have fowarding by type allowed on the phones. If so, and you want the calls to go to the same spot, remove that option. This is done by CLS CFTA, the in the phone set up, you will have a EHTD and EFDN. Change the CLS to CFTD and those prompts will go away. You will now need to set FDN and HUNT to the pilot number for your voicemail.

Hope this helps,

Scott M.

sorry but i have no clue what any of that stuff is.
i was hoping i just had to go into **config or **admin
and set something.

not sure what you mean by prompts. THere are no prompts. If i try to transfer a call to someone else and they dont pickup, instead of going to that persons voicemail the call comes back to my extention.

Sounds like your in the wrong forum, try going to capabilities and set forward when busy and forward no answer to your voicemail DN's, also copy that to the rest of your sets
