Voicemail Default Password 1

I'm a guy with an AVAYA background working on a Nortel Option 11 with Meridian mail.

When users need their voicemail passwords reset is there a way to force them to change their password once they login? On AUDIX you just made the password one digit shorter then the required length but I haven't figured out a way to do that on Meridian Mail. I don't want users to keep the passwords that we assign them.

THAT'S THE WAY MERIDIAN MAIL WORKS, IF YOU HAD CALL PILOT THEY WOULD HAVE TO CHANGE IT UPON ACCESSING THERE MAILBOX

that is a system command, under sys data, i make mine the (on mermail) the same as the dn, and a force is required

Is that System Data within Meridian Mail or in the phone switch?

In MerMail. You can set how often they need to change their password as well.
